Welcome to Well With Avril. By using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking any sessions, coaching programs, or retreats.

1. GENERAL TERMS

  • These Terms and Conditions apply to all services offered by Well With Avril, including yoga classes, coaching sessions, and retreats.

  • By booking a service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

  • Well With Avril reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes.

2. YOGA SERVICES

Sessions Designed Around You

Your Space, Your Choice

Private yoga sessions—whether 1:1 or with a group—take place in the space that feels most comfortable for you. This could be your home, a private venue, or an outdoor setting where nature becomes part of the practice.

For sessions held outside the immediate service area, a travel fee may apply. Any applicable fees will be shared in advance and included in your final invoice.

Special Gatherings & Venue Support

If you’re planning a private group session or a special event, I’m happy to assist in finding a venue that fits the feel of your gathering. Venue fees will be invoiced separately and need to be secured in advance to confirm the space.

Because each venue has its own policies, specific cancellation terms will be provided at the time of venue booking.

Booking & Payments

  • All yoga sessions are in person. For packages, virtual sessions cannot exceed 20% of the total sessions.

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to hold your session.

  • Packages of 5 or 10 sessions must be used within 6 months of purchase.

  • Packages are non-transferable and, once your first session takes place, they are non-refundable.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, at least 24 hours’ notice allows us to find another time that works for you, with no additional fee.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours are non-refundable.

  • If illness, an emergency, or unexpected weather affects an outdoor session, rescheduling will be prioritized so your practice can still unfold when the time is right.

Honoring Your Body & Your Practice

Your Safety & Well-Being

Yoga is a personal exploration—and your safety is always at the heart of that.

By booking a session, you understand that yoga involves movement, and you are choosing to participate at your own pace and within your own comfort. Please share any health conditions, injuries, or areas of concern before your session so I can craft a practice that supports you fully.

While every care is taken to create a safe and nurturing experience, Well With Avril cannot be held responsible for any injuries sustained during or after your session.

3. COACHING SERVICES

Bookings & Payments

  • Coaching sessions must be booked in advance and paid before the session.

  • Coaching packages can be paid in installments. See Payment Plan section for more details. Coaching packages, except for the Transformation package, must be used within 6 months. Transformation packages can be used within 7 months of purchase.

  • Packages are non-transferable and, once your first session takes place, they are non-refundable.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Sessions canceled with at least 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged in full.

Scope of Services

  • Coaching is a collaborative process aimed at self-discovery, reflection, and growth.

  • Well With Avril does not provide medical, psychological, or financial advice. Coaching is not a substitute for professional therapy or medical treatment.

Confidentiality

  • All coaching sessions are confidential. However, legal exceptions apply if harm to self or others is disclosed.

Coaching Agreement

  • To ensure a meaningful and intentional coaching experience, we kindly ask that all coaching clients read and sign the Wellness Coaching-Client Agreement before their first session (the Clarity Call). You can access the agreement here. Please return the signed copy to coaching@wellwithavril.com before your scheduled session.

4. RETREATS

Bookings & Payments

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure a spot in a retreat.

  • Full payment must be completed by the specified deadline.

  • Payment plans may be available; terms will be outlined in each retreat offering.

  • Accommodation & Vendor Costs
    As your retreat facilitator, I handle all venue bookings and vendor coordination to ensure a seamless experience for your group. The accommodation cost includes lodging for all participants, myself as your facilitator, and any essential team members (such as a photographer or chef, if selected). This ensures I’m fully present on-site to guide your experience and provide continuous support.

    Once your group selects your preferred venue, the full accommodation payment will be collected and used to directly secure the booking, including all applicable taxes, fees, and required team lodging. All accommodation and vendor terms will be provided to you at the time of selection.

  • Optional Nature & Adventure Experiences

    Retreats can be enriched with a variety of playful, grounding experiences designed to deepen your connection with nature and each other. These include, but are not limited to:

    • Surfing lessons

    • Freediving or snorkeling trips

    • Guided nature hikes

    • Kayaking or paddleboarding

    • Guided mindfulness walks

    • Group bonfires or stargazing

    These optional experiences are available at an additional cost depending on your group’s preferences. During the vision call, we will discuss your ideal activities, and I will provide an estimated cost for these activities, which will be confirmed prior to booking.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Deposits for are non-refundable.

    • For private retreats: This deposit covers initial planning, customized retreat design, and the reservation of Avril’s dedicated time, during which other client services will be unavailable.

    • For Public Retreats (Soulful Homecoming & One-Day Retreats): This deposit secures your reserved spot in a limited-capacity experience. However, if you are unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to someone else. If you find a replacement, your deposit will be refunded once the new participant has completed their booking. If no replacement is found, the deposit remains non-refundable.

  • Venue & Vendor Cancellation: Cancellations related to venue or vendor services (e.g., excursions, photography) will be subject to the specific policies of each provider. Terms and conditions will be provided at the time of booking. Guests are responsible for understanding and honoring these third-party terms.

  • Late Payments: Any remaining balance not paid by the due date will result in the cancellation of your retreat, and the deposit will be forfeited.

  • Cancellations made 30 days or more before the retreat start date: Any payments beyond the 30% deposit will be refunded, minus any non-recoverable costs already incurred (such as pre-paid materials, gift bags, coordination fees, or accommodation).

  • Cancellations made less than 30 days before the retreat start date: No refunds will be issued, as at this point, Avril has blocked off her availability and made significant preparations for your retreat.

  • If Well With Avril cancels the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will receive a full refund or credit towards a future retreat.

Travel & Liability

  • Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel, accommodations (if not included), and insurance.

  • Well With Avril is not responsible for lost items, travel delays, or personal injuries during the retreat.

  • It is the participant’s responsibility to disclose any medical conditions before attending.

5. PAYMENT PLANS

For clients who opt for payment plans, the following breakdown applies:

  • Timely payments are required to maintain access to services. If a payment is missed, services may be temporarily paused until the balance is settled. Once a session or retreat has started, payments are non-refundable

6. Payment Processing & Third-Party Services

All payments for Well With Avril services, including retreats, coaching, and yoga sessions, are securely processed through third-party platforms: Stripe, Squarespace Payments, Apple Pay, and Acuity Scheduling by Squarespace.

By booking a service or making a payment, you acknowledge and agree to both Well With Avril’s Terms & Conditions and the Terms of Service of these third-party providers. Well With Avril is not responsible for any payment processing issues, disputes, or additional fees imposed by these platforms. We recommend reviewing their terms for a full understanding of their policies.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • Well With Avril is not responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred while participating in any of our services.

  • Clients acknowledge that yoga, coaching, and retreat activities carry inherent risks, and they participate at their own discretion.
